The Governing Council for the Mount Mary College of Education is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to the position of College Secretary at the Mount Mary College of Education.
Duties:
The College Secretary is Secretary to the Mount Mary College of Education. As such he/she is the secretary to the governing council, college principal, academic board and all statutory committee of the college of education
The College Secretary under the college principal is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the college and managing resources, students and other related issues. She/he assists in creating the necessary environment for that pursuit of academic work
She/he is the master of all ceremonies in the college
Terms of Appointment:
The appointment is full time and applicants should not be more than 50 years old by 1st October, 2011.
Required Skills or Experience
A good university First degree in Communication skills
A Master’s degree
Considerable administrative or managerial experience of at least five years in an educational institution or church management
A practicing Catholic
Strong managerial and organisational skills
Excellent administrative and supervisory skills
Good team player
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy is mandatory
