Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Execute audit functions to check the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures
  2. Review, assess and recommend changes in accounting systems and controls in the Bank
  3. Ensure that the Bank is complaint with all statutory obligations and report timely to the Board
  4. Ability to work with little or no supervision is an advantage

 

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of First Degree in Commerce/Administration Accounting Option; Professional Certificate in Accounting/Bank – ACCA, ICA (GH), ACIB, ICSA, CIM (UK) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
  • Excellent computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word, knowledge in T24 Computer Software system will be an advantage
  • The minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar position
