The National Service Scheme is looking for qualified and experienced persons for employment in the following position

Job Description

Job Title: Film Editor

Job Purpose

•   To produce, edit and market films and documentaries for the scheme

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to the following:

•   Work with raw footage, select shots and combine them in sequences to create a finished motion
•   Assemble shots into coherent sequence
•   Edit dialogue scenes
•   Creatively work with layers of images, stories, dialogues, music
•   Effectively re-imagine and rewrite

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film and TV Production) from a recognized institution
•   Minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification experience
•   Very good communication skills (verbal and written)
•   Excellent digital technology skills
•   Good team playing skills
