Job Description

Job Title: Manager,International Relations & Company Secretary

To assist in handling the technical and administrative duties of the Unit.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Under the supervision of the Director-General, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and editing International Organisation for Securities Commissions’ (IOSCO) technical reports and publications for-internal and external parties.
  • Responding and commenting on information from IOSCO and other international securities regulators.
  • Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with representatives of the Africa Middle East Regional Committee (AMERC), Emerging Markets Committee (EMC) Financial Stability Board (FSB) , West African
  • Securities Regulators Association (WASRA); international communities and public interest groups.
  • Handling the technical and administrative duties of the funds Management Department.

Required Skills or Experience

Advertisement
  • Must be a qualified lawyer or Chartered Secretary.
  • A minimum of nine (9) year’s post-first degree working experience
  • Master in International Relation will be an advantage
  • Period of professional qualification will be considered

Competencies and Skills

  • Knowledge and experience in securities market operations.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Knowledge of the French language will be an advantage
