Newmont Ghana Gold Limited, a core operating district of Newmont Mining Corporation which is one of the world’s largest gold, mining companies.

Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the District Exploration Manager and will be part of a team that wilt lead exploration, deposit modeling and reporting

Essential Duties:

Provide training and growth opportunities to challenge team members
while accomplishing site and corporate objectives .
Communicate regularly to management through oral and written presentations
Work as part of a team for the evaluation of exploration,
Develop opportunities in a significant area of exploration activity
Show strong problem solving skills and ability to develop new applications

Required Skills or Experience

Technical Skills, Education/Training & Experience:
A Bachelor of Science in Geosciences minimum. Master of Science preferred.
Must have more than 10 years of industry experience in mining or exploration,
Experience at multiple sites; production geology preferred.
Working knowledge of French is preferred.
Industry experience can be substituted for graduate studies
