Project Assistant Vacancy

Job Description

Duration: One year with the possibility of renewal
Reporting: The job holders will report to the Program Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan with PCs to conduct regularly Coach and Child tracking visits, monitoring and evaluation of project performance
  • Assist PCs in monitoring the weekly, monthly and quarterly plans for all Coach Trainers and Supervisors
  • Gathers initial data on coaches and child tracking for entry into the project database and periodically plan field visits

Required Skills or Experience

  • University (First) degree in Planning, Development Studies, Economics, Sociology or any other related qualification with at least 2 years experience in the monitoring of project activities, project design, implementation, coordination etc
  • Statistics or data entry, analysis and management experience is a plus
  • Knowledge in community development work and Good IT skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and good report writing skills
  • Able to adapt, ability to be empathic to sensitive community issues at the local level and must be able to ride a Motor Bike, Good human relations and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Child protection and rights, gender and health issues in Ghana is required
