1. Business Development Manager
Panafrican Mining Services (Ghana) Limited, the authorized sole distributor of Komatsu equipment in Ghana is seeking to add to its team, highly experienced senior level staff to its operations in Ghana.
The role has the following responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining customer base by interacting face to face with clients without being intimidated
- New business generation and managing business in the pipeline to bring in more businesses
- Identify client’s need and offer competitive solutions
- Identify and follow up on business leads to materialize profitable business in line with company objectives
- Cold and warm calling
- Write proposal documents and tenders, negotiate price in line with company policy and comply with approvals and discounts allowed
- Identify and take advantage of new business opportunities
Required Skills or Experience
- HND or ten years experience in sales/marketing in a heavy equipment environment
- Understand the necessity of confidentiality
- Client relationship management
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound decision making and good business judgment
- Knowledge of the sales process – demand creation, pipeline development, opportunity qualification, presenting value proposition, negotiating and closing the business
- Extensive knowledge of Komatsu product will be an added advantage
2. Service Engineer
Job Description
Panafrican Mining Services (Ghana) Limited, the authorized sole distributor of Komatsu equipment in Ghana is seeking to add to its team, highly experienced senior level staff to its operations in Ghana.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Carry out field service repair, maintenance and fault detection of functional components and systems of equipments
- Represent the company as a direct contact and solving customers’ on technical problems
- He would diagnose faults, effect their repair in accordance with appropriate procedures to ensure the product has returned to full working condition
- Perform preventative maintenance by cleaning, inspecting and testing equipment prior to its use
- Determine parts to order for repairs and indicate timelines
- Conduct routine and scheduled inspection of equipment on site
- Maintain safe working habits as a primary concern at all time
Required Skills or Experience
- Certificate of qualification in engineering
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, steering and brake components of Komatsu
- Certificate of proficiency from Komatsu Ltd or any of its renowned distributors would be an added advantage
- At least three years heavy equipment experience, one of which should have been in a Komatsu environment
- Proficiency in computer usage, especially Microsoft applications
- Ability to operate heavy duty equipment

3. Service Manager
Panafrican Mining Services (Ghana) Limited, the authorized sole distributor of Komatsu equipment in Ghana is seeking to add to its team, highly experienced senior level staff to its operations in Ghana.
The role has the following responsibilities:
- Set up and provide product support to end users of the product lines
- Repair and maintenance of fleet of equipment owned by clients on regular basis and offer product support
- Coordinate with PSSR to track, follow-up and ensure the successful delivery of equipment and parts
- Direct procurement request to parts department for supplies and parts required to maintain automotive equipment, garage and storage facility
- The Service Manager would contribute to the development of Panafrican by organizing periodic training and refresher course for the mechanics to ensure that they are adequately equipped and motivated
- Prepare comprehensive report to clients whenever an assignment is completed
- Occasional visit to customer sites, as and when required to service machines
- Adherence to appropriate regulation and health and safety
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of first degree in mechanical engineering
- Specially trained by Komatsu in all aspects of Technical functions, operations, maintenance and repairs
- Certificate of proficiency from Komatsu Ltd or any of its renowned distributors would be an added advantage
- At least eight years experience or more, three of which should have bee in a Komatsu equipment servicing environment
- Proficiency in computer usage, especially Microsoft applications
- Ability to operate heavy duty equipment
- Possession of a valid driver’s license as the role would require some level of travel
