Pinora Limited is a fruit juice production company and aiming to be one of the leading producers and exporters of pineapples and orange juice in Africa, a private initiative, operates under the laws of Ghana within a free zone enclave to produce fruit juice and concentrates for export to the EU. Located in Asamankese in the Eastern Region, Pinora has a workforce of over 200 and offers an exciting and challenging environment in which our enthusiastic and talented staff can develop their carers.

Job Description

Six Field Officers for Eastern Region: One each for the following districts:

Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar
West Akim
Kwaebirim
Akyemansa
Birim Central
Responsible for carrying out the timetable of visits to producers and acting as a facilitator for opening new sources of fruit supply to the factory
Carry out the timetable of visits to suppliers and producers, looking out for the consolidation or opening of new business, soliciting evaluations from producers, in relation to the instructions and recommendations of his/her immediate superior
Provide reports on farm visits, differentiating between facts related and the effected analysis, flowering levels, fruit estimates, and objective preliminary evaluations of the orchard and future contracts
Effect the collection of samples of fruit from the individual orchards on a monthly basis, accompaniment of maturation and the behavior of the crop, to be used in realising the harvest operations
Assist producers and suppliers in areas related to the hiring of labour used in the harvest
To effect the accompaniment, management and programming of the harvest, controlling the flow and supply of raw materials to the factory, avoiding interruptions in the process of supply
Non-essential Job Functions:
Attending meetings: Value chain meeting, Farmers association meeting

Required Skills or Experience

Certificate or Diploma in Agric or any related discipline
Knowledge of citrus farming in Ghana
Experience in sales position
Motor bike driver’s license
Must live in the specified district
Computer knowledge in Microsoft word and excel
Ability to communicate well in English language, Fanti or Twi
And good negotiation skills is an added advantage
