Job Description

The position reports directly to the People and Culture Manager:
Co-ordinating staff recruitment activities
Responsible for the operation of the Human Resources Information System
Assisting in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of annual staff training and development programmes
Responsible for ensuring that management and staff are updated on labour laws and standards
In charge of updating staff files
Responsible for organising people centered events
Conducting employee morale surveys and advising management on appropriate change management interventions
Responsible for ensuring Plan Ghana’s HR processes are in compliance with Plan Global policies, Ghana Labour laws and practices
Monitoring of HR annual budget

Required Skills or Experience

University degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Sociology and Psychology
At least 5 years experience in HR management practices in a reputable organisation
Experience in the application and administration of the relevant income tax laws
At least, 3 years of relevant professional experience in the operation of a human resource information system
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent ICT skills
Good training delivery and facilitation skills
Strong team building and motivational skills
Strong competencies to plan, prioritise and execute
Process management
Good presentation skills
Excellent human relations
