Job Description

Job Title: Technical Process / Safety Engineer

Job Purpose:

•   To provide technical process / safety expertise / services on a large oil and gas project located in Ghana.

Responsibilities / Behaviors

•   Works on own initiative
•   Mentor junior staff and help develop them
•   Contribute to the success of the project
•   Proactively identifies and analyses issues and steers them through to full completion
•   Quickly responds to changing circumstances in a flexible manner
•   Strongly committed to safety

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree qualified (desirable)
•   Minimum of 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry (preferably)
•   Experience of working on international oil and gas projects
•   Minimum of 10 years experience of working as a Technical Process or Safety Engineer (preferable)
•   Previous experience to an FPSO project (preferably)
•   Previous experience of managing/mentoring junior employees
