ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking an Organization Development Specialist for an upcoming volunteer assignment in Ghana. The Abrono Organic Farming Project is requesting volunteer assistance to assess their operations to identify gaps, and to help identify funding sources and organizations to network with. The volunteer will also provide training on networking strategies. The assignment will last for approximately three weeks in country, in addition to preparation and research previous to departure. Travel and living are covered.

Job Title: Organization Development Specialist

Volunteer Qualifications:

• University degree in business, agribusiness, or other related area
• At least 5-10 years’ experience in organizational development, including networking
• The volunteer should be prepared to live in a rural and hot setting with limited or no access to amenities such as air conditioning or internet.
• Previous experience in rural African settings an advantage, although not required.
