Job brief

A Leading Financial Service company based in the Ghana is looking for Experienced Project Manager for immediate employment.


  • Manage project deliver from initial through to closure
  • Be accountable for project results, along with the sponsor
  • Work with the sponsor and project stakeholders to complete the project the charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
  • Complete the work breakdown structure to estimate the effort required for each task
  • Provide and maintain a project Flightplan, identifying when each task will be performed
  • Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members
  • Resolve any issue and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms
  • Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan. If required, recruit and manage appropriate staffing resources
  • Track and report on project milestone s and provide status reports to sponsor and to the PMO
  • Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
  • Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-implementation evaluation to determine how well results were achieved
  • Ensure adherence to the PMO methodology and quality standards
  • Ensure adherence to the PMO Configuration Management Strategy


  • Commerce Degree or relevant qualification
  • Sound working knowledge of the full MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio
  • Minimum of 5years fulltime experience as Senior Project Manager
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining control for risk and quality
  • Internationally recognized project management qualification

  • Sufficient seniority and credibility to communicate with senior stakeholder
  • Ability to collaborate and facilitate attainment of the best possible solution for the situation
