A distinguished research organization in Accra requires the services of a senior-level Finance Manager who will be in charge of the overall management of the Finance Department for enhanced professionalism and efficiently in the operations of the organization. The incumbent will report directly to the Executive Director.

Job Description

Job Title: Finance Manager

Roles:

•   Leadership and managerial oversight of the finance Department
•   Preparation of Financial Reports for all projects of the organisation
•   Preparation of quarterly Financial Statements for the attention of the Executive Director
•   Development and Maintenance of procurement and supply systems
•   Cashbook management
•   Preparation of institutional and programmes Budgets
•   Preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements
•   Maintenance and update of fixed Assets Register
•   Undertake other duties assigned by the Executive Director

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Strong professional qualifications -ACCA, ACMA,CA etc.
•   MBA in Finance and Accounting or similar qualification
•   Strong first degree from a recognized local or foreign university
•   At least six (6) years relevant working experience in a corporate environment, preferably a project/programme-funded organization
•   Strong and demonstrable managerial competencies
•   Prepared to work on week days and on weekends
•   Able to work to stick deadlines and under pressure
•   Conversant with the use of Accounting software
