Duration: One (1) year with possibility of renewal
Reporting: The job holder will report to the National Program Manager

The primary functions:

The position are to build the capacity of coach trainers and coachers to enhance the delivery of quality sport and play activities to children and youth in the assigned project location.
You are expected to facilitate the day-to-day running of the program, planning and coordinating of events and activities. These position will require your full time service.
Plan and conduct trainings with Coach Trainers for coaches and build the capacity of partners in program development
Undertake to the training and other capacity building activities for Coach Trainers and partners involved in the program
Conduct regularly Coach and Child tracking visits, monitoring and evaluation of project performance with partners, coaches and coach trainers
Supporting the design of projects and proposal writing for funding
Develop monthly plans with partners and present weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual project reports and draw task or project specific budgets for trainings, monitoring project activities and events
Support the development and planning of program, quarterly and annual work plans and budgets to enhance program infield operations
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management

Required Skills or Experience

The Ideal candidate must have:

Masters degree in Development Studies or any of the Social Sciences with at least 3 years experience in project coordination, development and management
Good training facilitation and process consulting skills, ability to train coaches, coach trainers and supervisors
Good IT skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Good health and stamina in terms of coping with pressure, report writing and meeting deadlines
A strong aptitude for collaborating with communities, groups and local organizations to monitor, evaluate and share lessons learnt to further projects goals and impacts
Able to adapt, ability to be empathic to sensitive community issues at the local level and must be able to ride a Motor Bike
Knowledge and experience in Child protection and rights, gender and health issues in Ghana is required
