Room Attendant Job Vacancies (30 Positions)

A leading multinational hospitality company with presence in many countries around the world is seeking to hire young, dynamic and highly-enthusiastic individuals with the right attitude as Room Attendants for their new and ultra-modern hotel being set up in Ghana. The successful candidates shall be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and also perform a combination of cleaning duties in a clear orderly manner.

Requirements:
Education/Qualification
Basic communication skills in English.
Ability to read and write.

Experience
No prior experience as a room attendant is required.
On-the-job training will be provided.

 

Duties/responsibilities

• Sets up equipment and trays for the day’s cleaning.
• Cleans, waxes or polishes room furniture.
• Changes the sheets, makes the bed during a guest’s stay and after a guest checks out.
• Checks and replenishes guest room suppliers.
• Scrubs floors and washrooms and cleans all windows and glass panes in the rooms.
• Reports all maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Stores cleaning materials and equipment after use.
• Assists the Laundry Supervisor in her daily duties.

Other duties as assigned.
