Exciting opportunity for qualified candidate looking to break into Technology Sales with an entry-level Inside Sales/Business Development position.
This individual would help expand our rapidly growing Technology Support Services company (Managed Services Provider). We’re seeking a very competitive and highly goal-oriented individual to work in partnership with the company’s Executive Management team to learn (and execute) the company’s sales strategies, and to close new Sales opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual whom is eager to learn, but to then own, their opportunity/business domain; with possibility for career advancement into expanding Business Development & Senior Sales roles. This individual would participate in a variety of Outside Sales & Business Development activities, in a Business-to-Business model, selling to IT and Financial executives throughout the Greater Accra Region and beyond.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work duties will be a mix of both tactical and strategic, including:
1. Sales & Marketing
Identify prospects, customers, and referral sources and develop/maintain relationships to ensure attainment of company business goals.
Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources.
Actively manage short- and-long term leads from external referral sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales process.
Manage marketing data using applicable sales management systems or tools (e.g., database, computerized call calendars and time management systems) to maximize efficiency and analyze data/marketing activity on a weekly basis
Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company, soliciting only those desired products/services provided by the company and its vendors, to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, Integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs.
Conduct on-site and community-based presentations, seminars and education that promote the image of our company as a leader in Managed I.T Services.
Database Management (Upkeep of Customer & Prospect Database)
Managing CRM system for all prospecting, activity management
Extensive, Daily Sales Prospecting Activities
Constant Email prospecting (60+ emails per day)
Daily, high-volume Telemarketing/Telesales activities
Full responsibility for comprehensive Business Development Process – Email Campaigns, Setting/Coordinate Customer Meetings and/or ConfCalls, delivery of follow-up materials (sales sheets, etc.), maintaining on-going contact with all “warm prospects,” etc.
2. General and Administrative
Communicate effectively with the Managing Director/CEO, the Sales Team, and the TechSupport Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and client objectives are met.
Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.
Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed.
Assists in developing and implementing contract processes.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
Strong attention to detail is an absolute MUST HAVE
Very well-organized, and strong Time Management skills a Must
Results-oriented focus; laser-focused on Successful Execution
Ability to juggle many different tasks/initiatives
We need someone that’s a true self-starter, able to independently drive activities within their role.
BA/BS degree is Strongly Desired
High school diploma or HND minimum
Experience in sales or customer service, and/or experience in I.T Services
Strong verbal and written communication skills and good math skills.
Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills and a sales aptitude.
Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
Good sense of design and color.
Must be a self-starter and a problem solver.
Driving license desired but not a must.
