The Sales Manager shall be responsible for the overall implementation of plans and strategies for the achievement of the organizations marketing and sales objectives. The role reports to the CEO
Role Specific Rquirements:
- Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy
- Meet periodic sales targets
- Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
- Manage and coach sales representatives
- Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
- Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales executives
- Create and conduct proposal presentations
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
- Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures
- Represent company at international trade fairs to promote products
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum Qualification:
- First Degree from a recognized university
- At least 7 years of experience in a multinational FMCG environment with at least 2 year in a middle management position
- Good oral and written communication
- International exposure would be an added advantage
- High intellectual capability-aptitude, spatial, conceptual and numerical abilities
- Strong IT background in MS suite
