A mobile advertising company is looking for sales persons to sell mobile advertising to corporate bodies in various industries such as FMCG, Banking and Financial institutions among others. Successful candidate shall sell the product to companies listed above as well as media agencies. The role reports to the Product Innovation Manager.
The role has the following responsibilities;
- Meet periodic sales targets
- Maintain strong relationships within client organizations at the decision-maker and execution levels
- Prepare and conduct sales presentation to potential media buyers
- Explain to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
- Maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts.
- Draw up contracts for advertising work and collect payments due.
- Locate and contact potential clients in order to offer advertising services.
- Maintain accurate and updated account summaries and meeting reports. Must be able to adapt to the incorporation and utilization of new tools, yield management, behavioural targeting, rich media, etc
- Compile detailed and accurate sales forecasts for presentation to Sales Management.
Required Skills or Experience
Role specific requirements;
- 1 to 3 years work experience in similar roles/ industry (TextGhana, SMS Ghana)
- Degree in sales, marketing and advertising or similar field from a relevant institution
- Good oral and written communication
- Proficient in MS office suite
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to coordinate resources and relationships outside of direct line of responsibility
