The Securities and Exchange Commission, a statutory body responsible for regulating the securities Industry in Ghana to ensure, inter alia the orderly, fair and equitable dealing in securities.
Job Description
Will assist the Head, Investment Management with the:
- The processing of all license applications to operate collective investment schemes
- The supervision of the activities of these schemes
- Formulating policy regarding the management, operation and accounting of these schemes
- Vetting advertisements and all documentation issued by or on behalf of these schemes to the public
- The supervision and regulation of any conflicts of interest and the detection of any branches of the fiduciary Relationships between the operators of the scheme and investors
- Detecting collective investment schemes operating without licenses
Remuneration: Attractive
Required Skills or Experience
The applicant should have the following qualifications:
- BSc Administration (Accounting) or equivalent qualification
- MBA Finance or CA/ACCA desirable as additional qualification
- Knowledge and experience in securities market operation is desirable
- A minimum of six (6) years post qualification experience
- Computer literate
