Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager, Fund management
Job Purpose
• To assist in handling the technical and administrative duties of the Funds Management Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Head, Funds Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Processing licenses for Fund Managers, Custodians/Trustees, and Collective Investment Schemes.
• Conducting post-offer inspection of collective investment schemes.
• Conducting on-site reviews of mutual fund/unit trust schemes, custodians & trustees, and fund management firms’ operations.
• Analyzing statutory/financial returns of fund management firms, collective investment schemes, trustee, and custodians.
Qualification Required & Experience
• BSc Administration (Accounting) or equivalent qualification.
• MBA Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years post qualification experience
• Partly qualified in CA, ACCA, CIMA will be an advantage.
• A minimum of six (6) years post-first degree experience
• Knowledge and experience in securities market operations is desirable.
• Must be computer literate.
