Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager,Legal & Enforcement

To assist in handling the technical and administrative duties of the Legal & Enforcement Department.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Under the supervision of the Head, Legal & Enforcement, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that the Commission complies with all its statutory requirements under the securities industry laws.
• Reviewing regulations and manuals of the Commission.
• Providing general counsel services to the Commission.
• Enforcement of the Commission’s powers under the Securities Industry Laws.
• Acting as secretary to committees of the Board.

Required Skills or Experience

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of six (6) years’ post-first degree working experience.
• Period of qualification as a lawyer will be considered.

Competencies and Skills 

• Knowledge in securities regulation.
• Must be computer literate.
