Job Description

• Job Title:    Service Supervisor

• Position Type:    Full time, Permanent

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be prepared to work long hours and weekends when the need arises
• Ensure historical machine reliability issues are proactively used as a primary driver of future equipment maintenance
• Ensure machine performance and historical data is utilized extensively in future planning activities
• Provide key leadership in resolving problematic machines and machine maintenance, ensuring activities are planned and managed in an efficient manner to avoid excessive downtime and providing an improved performance post repair
• Writing excellent Service reports
• Ensure a good interpersonal and customer relationship
• Must be prepared to work at noisy and dirty environments
• Troubleshooting and  using Automobile diagnosis tools like Tech tool PROSIS, Impact, Matrix

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of MVT Part 3 or a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering
• Competence in mechanical, hydraulics & electrical troubleshooting
• Possession of a good analytical skills and be attentive to details
• Computer literacy especially with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and the internet
• Possession of a valid driving license & demonstrate competent driving skills
• Must have at least five (5) years post qualification on Maintenance & repairs of  Heavy Earth Moving Equipment experience
• An experience in Field Service would be an advantage
• Demonstrate an ability to lead, supervise, train, mentor, influence the service team
• Must have at least five years hands on Automobile Experience
