Vacancy: Property Manager
Duties of the Property Manager:
- Collect rent
- Maintain a user register in order to track the activities of users
- Monitor/supervise the cleaning of the facility and the disposal of waste by cleaning contractors
- Survey/inspect the conditions of the building and facilities therein and advice on their maintenance and improvement
- Let out office/shop spaces and conference halls and open areas to prospective tenants and users
- Screen prospective tenants
- Negotiate leases/tenancies in respect of the commercial spaces
- Monitor/supervise and co-ordinate the activities of other service providers to ensure the provision of quality services to the tenants and users of the facility
- Fix rent on the commercial spaces such as offices, shops, conference halls, eating places, etc
- Monitor and effect reviews in respect of the above-mentioned commercial spaces
- Submit periodic report (monthly) on the state and condition of the building and facilities therein for Management decision
- Facilitate payment of utility charges such as Property Rates, Ground Rent, Electricity, Water, and etc. due on the facility
Required Skills or Experience
- A competent Property Manager preferably with a Diploma in Estate Management with 10 years minimum experience or BSc. Land Economy with 5 years experience
- Must be energetic, self motivated and creative with a drive to achieve set goals
