Job Description

Job Title: Pre-commissioning and Spill Prevention Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

•   Technically responsible for the spill prevention & Pre-Commissioning package in the project
•   Manage engineering within package
•   Actively monitor and involve on schedule issues within package internal and at sub-contractors
•   Ensure that engineering documents within the package are timely developed, checked and documented
•   Actively involve and contribute to secure timely delivery of engineering documents from sub-contractors within package
•   Assist supply chain with technical issues within package
•   Actively involve and contribute on cost & contractual issues towards sub-contractors
•   Perform engineering within own and other packages as required
•   Assist project engineering manager in project work
•   Participate to ensure, as required, that matters related to quality and health, safety and environment are identified and implemented in the engineering work and at sub-contractors
•   Participate to ensure, as required, that the HSE Policy, Zero Mindset Philosophy and the ALARP Principle is implemented in the engineering deliveries
•   Provide necessary engineering support to other disciplines
•   Ensure that standardized equipment and methods are utilized as for as possible
•   Take part, as required, in operational SJA / HAZIDs / HAZOPs / FMEAs as identified during the engineering stages
•   Comply with all FOEM governing procedures
•   Technical responsible for package
•   Responsible for the engineering within the package
•   Key discussion partner in contractual issues towards companyu and sub-contractors within package
•   Key discussion partner in quality and HSE issues towards company and sub-contractors within package
•   Assist engineering manager in developing internal training courses and provide mentorship

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s / Master Degree in Engineering or related professional qualification
•   5 or more years relevant subsea pre-commissioning experience
•   Senior or specialist engineer – working knowledge in industry design standards
•   Good knowledge to Microsoft suit of programs
•   BOSIET
