Job Description

Lecturer in English Language, Social Studies, ICT and Accounting/Business Studies (4 positions)

We are looking for dynamic and well-qualified teachers for employment at the St James Business College, Denu, in the Volta Region, to teach English Language, Social Studies, ICT and Accounting/Business Studies.

1. English Language
Must be a trained teacher with a Degree or Cert ’A’ with specialty in English Language with at least 3 years teaching experience. Must be able to teach Literature in English and Core English.

2. Social Studies
Must be a trained teacher with a Degree in Sociology or Cert ’A’ with specialty in teaching Social Studies, with at least 3 years teaching experience.

3 Accounting & Business Studies
Must be a Degree holder or HND with the ability to teach Business Studies subjects e.g. Accounting, Business Law, Office Practice and Administration (OPA), Business Communication, etc at Diploma Level. Candidate must have at least 3 years teaching experience in a reputable training institution.

4 ICT
Candidate must be a Degree holder, HND or equivalent in the respective field. With the ability to teach Information Technology, Information Systems, Quantitative Methods, Computer Studies, and Systems Analysis and design in accordance with WAEC ABCE syllabus. Candidate should also be able to perform general trouble shouting tasks in a Windows 2003 server environment.

Required Skills or Experience

Candidates should possess a University degree, HND, Teacher Cert ’A’ or Equivalents in the respective fields.
Candidates should also have a minimum of 3 years working experience relevant to the position.
