TATA Africa Holdings (Ghana) Limited, part of India’s Largest Group is looking for qualified, dynamic and result oriented persons to fill the below mentioned position.
Major Responsibilities:
- Preparing management report on cash flows, debtors, collection and clients and other key operating area
- Instituting preventive and detective system of controls and ensure that controls are consistently applied
- Ensuring compliance with the legislation regulating the industry
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment of all statutory dues
- Carrying out effective tax planning for the company and ensure tax compliance
- Analyzing the P/L for all the costs
- Follow up on cost control and cost improvement measures being put by the management
- Audit of all costs incurred as well as cash audits
- Maintaining fixed assets register and audit of fixed assets at regular intervals
- Liaising with bankers for charges, L/Cs, BGs, short term facilities
- Reviewing of sales and purchase invoices
- Daily review of duties of accounts/finance officers

Required Skills or Experience
- A professional Accounting qualification like ICA (GH), ACCA or similar
- At least 2 years experience in similar or related role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, tax and other statutory provisions
- Good written and verbal communication skills with ability and experience of negotiating and influencing effectively at a senior level
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines;
- Well developed commercial acumen, strategic thinking, organizational skills and team management
- Knowledge and experience of using accounting packages, knowledge of Tally will be an added advantage
