Job Description

Our client, a new licensed universal bank, seeks to bring on-board exceptional and high performing bankers to join their team of highly qualified, competent and experienced professionals. These positions come with exceptional remuneration

Head, Risk Management Group Job # EB003-1

This is a Principal Manager position

Key Requirements:

Ensures that an effective risk management framework covering the main risks-credit, market and operational – is put in place for the bank
Ensures that the bank’s policies, procedures and strategies in risk management are in consonance with market conditions and BoG’s rules at all times
Ensures a rapid growth in the bank’s market share without compromising asset quality
Ensures a diversified portfolio devoid of concentration risk and backed by structured programmes
Initiate changes to the Credit Policy Manual for improvement and when desirable
An SBO Job # EB003-2 exist in the unit

Required Skills or Experience

The ideal candidate should be a holder of a first degree with a minimum of a Second Class Upper in addition to an MBA
Relevant professional qualification in Accountancy, Banking, etc would be an added advantage
The candidate must easily demonstrate good knowledge of the Ghanaian economy vis-a-vis the banking sector
Must be computer literate
Ability to manage large corporate is key
Strong credit and investment background is required
Knowledge in Energy Finance is a major advantage
Total banking experience must not be less than 18 years with a minimum of 8 years in similar position
Qualifications are the same. Minimum experience 8 years
