Tetra Tech ARD Inc Jobs: Specialist / Programme Officer

Tetra Tech ARD, Inc. (http://www.ardinc.com/) requests applications from qualified candidates to work with the Early Warning and Response Design Support (EWARDS) Project funded by USAID. In cooperation with the West Africa Network for Peace Building (WANEP), the project strengthens ECOWARN, ECOWAS’s conflict early warning system.

The successful candidate will be based in Accra and expected to work closely with ECOWAS and WANEP to organise and conduct a range of conflict early warning and response activities.

Required Skills or Experience

3+ years of experience working on Early Warning and Response Systems. Familiarity with ECOWAS and ECOWARN, as well as the WANEP Warning and Response Network (WARN)
Experience in designing and conducting conflict analyses and responses in the ECOWAS region
Previous experience with USAID-funded projects and grants procedures helpful;
Excellent oral and written skills in English required; fluency in French and Portugese desirable
