Lecturers – Department of Management Education

The University: On May 14, 2004 the University of Education Act, Act 672 was enacted to upgrade the status of the University College of Education of Winneba to the status of a full University. The University of Education, Winneba was established in September, 1992 as a University College under PNDC Law 322. University of Education, Winneba brought together seven diploma awarding institutions located in different towns under one umbrella institution. Currently the University has three campuses. The main campus is at Winneba in the Central Region, with satellite campuses at Kumasi and Ashanti Mampong in the Ashanti Region.

Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in the College of Technology Education, Kumasi, of the University of Education, Winneba.

Department of Management Education

Areas to Teach:

Management Information System
Human Resource Management
General Management Studies
Organizational Behaviour
Marketing Management
Project Management
Operations Management

Required Skills or Experience

MPhil/PhD/DBA in any of the above Business Related areas
Ability to teach two or more course areas listed above is desirable

Responsibilities and Age Limit:

Successful applicants will undertake research and teaching, internship supervision, counselling services and other responsibilities that may be assigned. Non-PhD holders applying for lectureship position must not be more than forty (40) years
