A reputable farmer based organization seeks the services of a young professional to work as a Social/Liaison Officer to work with fish processor groups in Apam & Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana.

Job Description

Job Title: Social/Liaison Officer

Required Skills or Experience

The selected candidate should;

• Be a resident in either Apam in the Gomoa West District or Winneba in the Efutu Municipal
• Possess a minimum of diploma (diploma, WASSE, equivalent qualification would be considered)
• A 6 months post qualification experience would be an added advantage.
• Hands on experience in fish processing, in the fisheries industry and dealing with fish processors would be an added advantage.

COMPETENCIES/ KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: The desired candidate should possess;

• Ability to gather data, compiles information, prepares reports and records maintenance skills.
• Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills.
• Ability to speak a local language and Efutu/ Fante will be an added advantage.
