Job Title: Cost and Margin Assurance Manager

Position Title: Cost and Margin Assurance Manager

Location: Greater Accra
Purpose Of Role: To lead in the delivery of the cost and margin assurance KPIs in the following areas: Roaming Assurance, Interconnect Assurance, Content Assurance, Commissions Assurance, Blackberry and Other Third Parties’ Cost Assurance
Key Accountabilities: •Develop detailed plans for cost and margin assurance activities and monitor and report on all related KPIs
•Responsible for revenue assurance controls regarding new products and services development, tariff changes, automated test calling and the monitoring and reporting of all related KPIs
•Assess operational processes and related results to understand the impact on business targets relative to revenues, costs and margins, and implement processes and policies to minimize cost and maximize margins
•Lead cross-functional teams to resolve cost, margin and product assurance issues and implement relevant controls to support the achievement of business targets
•Prepare monthly reports on revenue/cost impacts for the local management team as well as the Global Revenue Assurance management team
Person Specification: • First degree in Computer Science, Business or Finance
• Revenue Assurance, Finance, Auditing or related assurance work experience – Must have 7 years’ relevant experience and preferably 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Very good understanding of telecom roaming and interconnect business as well as third party cost assurance
• Knowledgeable in telecoms product development processes from product conceptualization to commercial launch
• Experience in the use of data analytic tools and/or revenue assurance tools e.g. Excel, Access and SQL
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (desirable but not essential)
• ACCA (desirable but not essential)

Purpose Of Role: 1. To safeguard and grow revenue from allocated Strategic and Corporate Accounts nationally through account planning and opportunity management and relationship building

2. To meet annual targets for sales and revenues, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities: 1. Provide account data to the Sales Manager for developing a sales plan and monitoring its implementation.

2. Leadership/membership of virtual account teams to meet targets for profitability and revenues.

3. Develop regional contact strategies and regional account development plans (ADP) for each of the allocated accounts.

4. Develop a pipeline of prospects which are systematically qualified, managing the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales prospects are closed.

5. Exercise thought leadership at Board level within the allocated accounts, demonstrating an understanding of the business strategies and communications dependencies of the customer; and presenting the compelling value proposition of Vodafone Enterprise Sales.

6. Identify sales training and development needs and manage skills enhancement for self and the virtual account team.

7. Ensure integrated channel management, supported by appropriate systems such as CRM; use knowledge management to increase the professionalism of account management. 8. Full integration of quality management processes within all sales activities for the allocated accounts, ensuring effective deployment on a day-to-day basis.

9. Use relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

10. Provide sales performance data to support management decision-making.

11. Ensure full compliance with telecommunications licence provisions, sector regulations and competition laws.

12. Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers and with account teams in Vodafone Ghana Head Office.
