Job Description

The Council of  Wisconsin International University College, Ghana invites the applications for the position of Principal:

The Position:

The Principal, under the direction of the Board of Directors, is Chief Executive with responsibility for academic standards and administration, providing leadership necessary for the successful operation of the University to international standards
He/She is also responsible for implementing a strategic development plan for an institution with high-quality market-oriented programmes, and recruiting academic and administrative staff

Terms of Appointment:
The terms and conditions for the positions include a competitive remuneration package

Required Skills or Experience

The Principal must be:

A distinguished scholar with an in-depth knowledge of and experience in university education
A leader with the vision, drive, and intellectual ability to implement the university’s vision and build cordial relationships with all stakeholders
An administrative with a proven track record of leadership of an organization with the ability to communicate across the culture, ensure efficient managements of the university’s financial resources, and raise funds and resources for research and other activities of the university
A person of integrity with the capacity to motivate staff and maintain high professional standards
A minimum qualification of an earned PhD in any discipline from a recognized university
At least fifteen (15) years post qualification work experience in teaching and administration in a university or analogous institution
