Locations: Western/Central, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper East & Upper West Regions
The job holder will be performing sales activities and will report to the National Sales Manager. He/she will be responsible for ensuring a good distribution of Zain’s products and services, increasing subscriber gross adds and growing revenue by expanding Zain’s numeric distribution through aggressive recruitment of retailers and embarking on other sales activities
The incumbent will:
Perform territorial review and demarcations
Drive recruitment and placements of distributors
Be responsible for monthly performance reviews of distributor’s performance
Manage the Distributor relationship
Conduct periodic audits of route to market compliance within the regions
Perform distribution channel analysis and development
Develop strategic sales plans for the region
Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate the market
Review performance of supervisors and representatives
Manage the implementation of market initiatives for the region
Recruit, train and develop sales staff according to company policies
Ensure relevant HR procedures are adhered to
Provide support to field sales team through training and coaching
Analyze various reports from trade and planning strategies to tackle key issues
Perform other related duties that may be assigned
Required Skills or Experience
The ideal candidate must have the following:
A university degree or higher
A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience
Telecoms or FMCG experience will be an added advantage
Be able to work under pressure with short-term targets
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be computer literate
