Job Description
Job Title: Manager, Security & Fraud
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the jobholder will be responsible for fraud investigations & mitigation and managing the physical security of the Bank.
- Develop and implement security and fraud protection policies and procedures to prevent commercial fraud and ensure safety of moveable and immovable assets of the Bank
- Develop and implement policies and standards for the Bank’s head office and branch premises considering standards established by regulators
- Collaborate with S&IT and appropriate external agencies to mitigate cybercrime
- Conduct investigations into Bank fraud, thefts, and make recommendations for decision-making
- Perform on-going review of existing processes to identify potential opportunities to create new efficiencies
- Responsible for vendor relationship management
- Prepare, monitor and control Unit budget
- Manage employee performance, coach and motivate staff to achieve business results
Requirements
- First Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or its equivalent
- At least seven (7) years relevant experience with at least five (5) years in a senior management position
- Professional qualification in Fraud Examination and Commercial Risk Management is required
- Experience in the security services desirable
- Strong knowledge in investigative research methods and reporting
- Strong awareness of cybercrime investigation and mitigation methods
- Demonstrable skills in Occupational Health & Safety standards, legislations, and Commercial Fraud preven-tion
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Must be proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
