Job Title: Director, Business Development

Job Location

To develop and implement clear and coherent Business Development Strategy for the company to achieve short and long term business and financial objectives and to increase market share. Develop and execute Business Plans in line with the corporate objectives and maximise marketing and sales efforts.

  • Formulate an overall business development strategy/plan for the Company
  • Keep regular contacts with past, existing and new clients to explore new opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing business plans and budgets for new projects.
  • Ensure efficient and effective advertising and promotional planning through the Brands and Marketing department.
  • Plan and carry out marketing activities to agreed sales targets, budgets and timescales.
  • Identify and attend tradeshows and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Management and Strategy or any professional qualification relating to Business Development.
  • Must have at least eight (8) years working experience three (3) of which should be at management level.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
  • Must have experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment.
  • Negotiation and Mediation skills.
  • Good Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Must be adept in the use of MS Office particularly Excel and Word, Internet and email.
