MOCA will hire a Local Coordinator for each of the two focus regions – Ashanti and Western.  The Coordinators will provide technical guidance and oversee the delivery of education, vocational training and other services to beneficiaries at community level and monitor project activities to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with work plans.

Job Title: Local Coordinators

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, development, social sciences, management, administration or related fields. Knowledge of child labor issues. Prior experience with community engagement/advocacy, awareness-raising, and management of community volunteers.
• Fluency in English
• Provide leadership and technical support for all community activities, staff and volunteers, and monitor project activities on a daily basis at field level. Collect data and monitor Community Action Plan (CAP) project activities. Serve as primary contacts for project partners and stakeholders, including local authorities and officials, and foster local ownership and participation in the project.
• Engage the private sector, local authorities and other partners with the aim of advancing project sustainability.
