Job Description

Gold Fields Ghana is seeking to employ an experienced and self motivated SAP Super User who will:- assist Gold Fields to comply with regulatory mandate such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Identify and remove access and authorization risks from our SAP System, as well as embed preventive controls in our business processes to stop segregation of duties (SoD) violations, thus improving performance and simplifying risk and security administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for regulatory compliance issues:

1. Compliant User Provisioning (CUP)
2. Enterprise Role Management (ERM)
3. Risk Analysis and Remediation (RAR)
4. Super user Privilege Management

• Responsible  for providing the end user with appropriate SAP support and assistance in order to optimize usage of the business application
• Ensuring continuous business improvement as per SAP-requirements
• Ensuring end user queries are appropriately addressed and rectified
• Assisting SAP Business Process Owners with process improvement
• Assisting with new reporting requirements
• Assisting with the roll-out of SAP to other group companies
• Monitoring correct application of SAP business processes
• Ensuring that business process policies are adhered to
• Ongoing training of users as per training needs analysis

Required Skills or Experience

• Hold a formal tertiary qualification in IT or a Business field relevant to the position
• Minimal 2-3 years overall Risk Management and governance experience
• In-depth knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Knowledge of Process Control implementation procedures
• Familiar with typical corporate internal audit procedures and legal requirements
• Experienced in working with SAP ECC 6.0 or equivalent
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Process well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and organizational abilities
• Be self-reliant, self-driven and results oriented
• Be analytical and pays attention to detail, capable of prioritizing and managing his/her time and work load effectively
• Willing and able to work in a team, be a customer orientated and a team player
• Medical fitness for the position and environment
