Accra Compost & Recycling Plant Ltd Recruitment (6 Positions)
The Accra Compost & Recycling Plant Ltd is a commercial entity set up to receive, sort and process waste, recycling components of the waste as are applicable, treating the remaining waste and producing compost and other products, for sale.
1. Production and Maintenance Manager
The preferred candidate will have:
- A university degree in Engineering, Environmental science or Biochemistry or a related field with a minimum of ten years relevant experience, four of which should have been in a supervisory position in a manufacturing or processing facility
- Experience in the supervision of plant maintenance activities will be an asset
2. Finance and Administration Manager
The preferred candidate will have:
- Professional Accounting Qualification such as ACCA, CA, CIMA, CPA plus a minimum of seven years post qualification experience
- An MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance or a related field will be an advantage
- Work experience in a manufacturing or processing establishment will be an asset
3. Quality Control and Environmental Manager
The preferred candidate will have:
- University degree in a relevant field plus a postgraduate qualification in Quality Assurance/Management and post graduate training in Environmental management. A minimum of eight years experience will be required
- Experience in a manufacturing or processing facility will be an asset
4. Sales and Marketing Manager
The preferred candidate will have:

- University degree in marketing plus ten years experience in a related field OR a relevant university degree plus an MBA in marketing and 8 years experience in the field OR Membership of Charted Institute of Marketing plus eight years experience in a related field
5. Human Resource Supervisor
The preferred candidate will have:
- A University degree in Human Resource, Social Sciences or Humanities plus five years relevant post graduation experience preferably in a manufacturing or processing plant
6. Maintenance Engineer
The preferred candidate will have:
- A University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five years post graduation experience, preferably in a manufacturing or processing plant
- Supervisory experience will be an asset
