Reporting To: General Manager

Job Purpose:
Provide comprehensive HR services to ensure harmonious industrial relations in the work place. To ensure relevance and quality of Driver Testing and Training Services.

Summary of Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist in recruitment processes including soliciting, reviewing applications, conducting interviews and orientation
  • Assist and advise Management on HR issues in respect of employee performance, remunerations and development of policies for effective working relations
  • Participate and engage in all industrial relations management issues with Union/s
  • Prepare and update monthly training schedules and follow up with clients to ensure execution
  • Annually review Driver testing/training services material and templates for relevance

 

Required Skills or Experience

  • University degree in Human Resource, Psychology or Business related field. HR accreditation is an added advantage
  • 5 years experience in key HR process areas -recruitment, development, performance management, and remuneration
  • Knowledge and understanding of local labour markets and employment law regimes in Ghana
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching, influencing and interpersonal relationship are essential
  • Able to proactively recognize, gauge and address potential industrial relations issues
  • Accessible and responsive; must be approachable and visible to all staff as well as committed to keeping all parties appropriately informed regarding ongoing queries, issues or concerns
  • Builds and maintains relationships with trust by upholding confidentiality, openness and meeting commitments in a proactive and timely manner
