• Job Title: Dispatcher
• Department: Operations Control Department
• Reports to: The Head of Operations Control
• Location: Head Office, Accra
Job Purpose:
• Dispatch and follow flights to ensure the safe and smooth operations of the airline
• Key Accountabilities
• Dispatching of Flights and operations monitoring
• Flight document management
• Flight information and aircraft performance related document management
• Handle other related operations issues
• Other tasks as assigned from time-to-time by the Head of Operations Control Department.
Qualification Required & Experience
• 1st Degree in a relevant field
• Must be a licensed dispatcher
• At least two years of experience is a plus
Skills and Competence
• Possesses excellent planning & organisational skills
• Possesses good analytical skills
• Must have drive, initiative, high integrity, be a team player & customer-focused
• Ability to drive a high performance culture
• Possesses excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Possesses excellent computer skills

Job Title 2: Grounds Handling Officers
Department: Operations Control Department
Reports to: Dir., Operations Control
Location: Accra
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure that all Agent Employees performing ground operations services and all related services are well managed to the benefit of AWA
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• To ensure efficient and effective operations of Check-in process including the resolution of any ticketing and reservation issues, management of customer complaints and ramp services.
• Ensure that all ground operations meet company, GCAA and international standards.
• Take Control of all ramp activities and ensure prompt ramp services by all AWA Agents
• To ensure that the ground operations manual ,passenger handling/customer service procedures manual are periodically audited to meet regulatory and company requirements.
• To conduct internal audits and inspection of Ground Operations.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Ensure on-time departures
• Prompt assistance to passengers & crew
• Operationally available when on duty
• Ensure efficiency by prioritising workload
Competencies (Knowledge/skills/abilities)
• Knowledge in Ticketing/Reservations & Passenger handling.
• Knowledge and experience in Airport Ground/Ramp handling duties.
• Required Level Of Proficiency In Computer Literacy And Microsoft Office
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must be a College graduate or equivalent
• Experience in working at Airport front/ticketing counter
• Experience in Airport Ground/Ramp handling duties.
• Strong customer service aptitude

Job Title 3: Cabin Crew
• Department: Flight Operations Departament
• Reports to: The Manager, Cabin Services
• Location: Head Office, Accra
Job Purpose:
• Must comply with all Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and Company safety regulations and procedures to ensure the safety of passengers.
• Promote excellent customer service attitudes to all clients.
Key Accountabilities
• Attend pre-flight briefings, during which cabin crew will be assigned their crew positions for respective flights.
• Carry out pre-flight duties, including checking of on-board safety equipment and information cards, ensuring the aircraft cabin interior is clean and tidy, and that all meals / beverages are on board.
• Welcome passengers on board in a friendly and professional manner, and direct them to their seats.
• Inform passengers of the aircraft safety procedures and ensure all hand luggage is securely stowed.
• Check all passenger seat belts and galleys are secure prior to departure.
• Make required cabin announcements and provide passenger information on request
• Serve meals and refreshments to passengers.
• Provide first aid treatment to passengers where necessary.
• Assist passengers to disembark safely at the end of a flight and check for left luggage in the overhead lockers.
• Complete administrative documentation, including writing flight reports at the end of a flight.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Manager, Cabin Services.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum entry age – 18 years.
• Minimum education – A diploma/degree from a higher educational institution.
• Minimum height – 5’2 (1.57m) with weight in proportion.
Skills and Competence
• Physically fit and able to pass GCAA medical examination for cabin crew.
• Swim well without floatation device.
• Possess a valid Ghanaian passport.
• Fluent in English (Level 4 or higher), knowledge of foreign languages will be an asset.
• Ready to meet the challenge of dealing with people in demanding situations.
• Friendly but professional, with a lively personality and good communication skills.
• Possesses good planning & organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, initiative and high integrity, to be a customer-focused team player
• Work with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrate a high level of working independence.
• Work under pressure, and in adverse weather conditions.
• Must not be susceptible to motion sickness.
