Due to the award of a mine development contract at Ahafo for the Subika Underground Mine and subject to Newmont’s Board final approval, AUMS is seeking expressions of interest for up-coming work in Ghana from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following role

Job Description

Job Title: EHS & T Managers

Qualification Required & Experience

Demonstrated experience leading a site safety department and team:


•   Ensure AUMS’s safety values and culture is effectively promoted and adopted across the operation.
•   Demonstrated experience in underground mining operations including extensive experience as an operator in multiple underground disciplines.
•   Development of site specific EHS&T management plans.
•   Provide lead and technical support as required to accident investigations to ensure a thorough and documented approach is used.
•   lead EHS & T improvement to ensure both operational and legislative requirements are met.

Location: Ahafo
