The Kepak Group operates 9 integrated abattoirs and processing facilities across Ireland and the United Kingdom. These plants are strategically located around prime procurement areas. We process in excess of 275,000 head of cattle, 1,000,000 lambs and in excess of 30,000 tonnes of convenience foods per annum. Kepak also caters for Halal and Kosher markets.
Job Title: Operations/ Transport Manager
Transport & logistics manager in Ghana to up skill and manage a small logistic team as well as providing support to the General Manager
General Manager of Choice Commodities Ltd.
Provide a transport management plan and reporting system
Train the team to increase productivity
Implement a transport management process
Set individual targets for each team member together with on-going management and direction.
Provide market information feedback to help improve the companies procurement process
Work with our clearance agents to ensure containers clear port in efficient manner
Schedule containers clearance and ensure resources are in place to support a smooth clearance
Provide logistical support over stock levels to ensure sales and purchase work in tandem
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
· Performance Management reviews of logistics staff
· Weekly pricing and Monthly forecasting
· Ensuring containers clear port within 4 days
· Continuous improvement transport plan
