As part of its objectives, AMPLIFIES Ghana seeks to strengthen existing distribution networks of commercial poultry feed processors. As part of activities to achieve this objective AMPLIFIES Ghana intends to provide branding and marketing support to beneficiary commercial feed processors.

Job Description

Job Title: Branding/Marketing Specialist-Consultancy

Deadline: 28 July 2017

Purpose of the Consultancy

To provide technical support and capacity building activities for selected commercial feed processors in the branding/marketing of poultry feed.

Proposed time frame: 30 days

Task:

Assess the branding and marketing needs of selected commercial feed processors.

Conduct training on branding/marketing for relevant staff of commercial feed processors.

Advise feed processors on how to incorporate branding into their distribution networks, for example by advertising their brands on their physical assets such as vehicles, warehouses and distribution centers, and packaging.

Assist commercial feed processors in developing branding/marketing strategies.

Management and Technical Guidance

The consultant will work under the overall supervision of the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP).

The DCOP will be responsible for supervising all activities of the Consultant which includes reviewing and approving inception notes, work plans and activity reports submitted.

The DCOP will be the direct contact person for the consultant and responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the consultant and link to any organizational support necessary.
