Job Title: Accountant
Job Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility of accounts receivables and accounting function within the Organisation
• Reviews of credit policies and set credit limit for customers
• Reviews of debt collection policies and procedures
• Prepares annual budget and ensure its effective implementation and control
• Tax advisory services
Key Skills
The Candidate must be/have:
A chartered Accountant.
5 years’ experience in a similar accountant role.
Expertise in the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.);
Expertise in the preparation, analysis and reporting of complete set of financial statements
Experience in relevant Ghana tax laws, accounting and compliance including income tax (corporate and individual), withholding taxes, capital allowance,
capital gains tax and VAT & NHIL
Expert in regular accounts reconciliations including bank statements, accounts receivables and payables
Payroll accounting and employee pension management
Experience in period-end trial balance adjustments and validation
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Resilient team player, good negotiation skills, and strong sense of proven integrity
