Job Description

Job Title: Physicians (15 Positions)

Medical Director
Job Summary – The job holder will provide leadership and direction for all aspects of medical patient care services provided by the Hospital.

Cardiologist
Job Summary – The jobholder will support the development and delivery of a cardiology service in the Hospital and be responsible for the care of in-patients based at the hospital

Dental Surgeon
Job Summary -The job holder will be responsible for administering, maintaining and growing a program of primary and preventive dental care in the Hospital.

Doctor Anaesthetist
Job Summary – The job holder will provide a safe Anaesthetic service and contribute/participate on the daily schedule for medical management of critically ill /Intensive Care patients.

ENT Surgeon
Job Summary – The job holder will be responsible for the health needs of all categories of ENT patients including children with congenital and acquired deafness (hearing impairment).

Family Health Physician
Job Summary – The job holder will provide health assessment and direct care to patients as part of the provider team providing services to assigned patient groups at the Hospital.

Medical Officer
Job Summary – The job holder will provide daily consultation covering out-patients care and emergency care.

Obstetrician/ Gynecologist
Job Summary – The jobholder will provide health assessment and direct care to obstetrics and gynecology patients.

Ophthalmologist
Job Summary – The job holder will provide clinical management services for complex eye conditions.

Orthopaedic Surgeon
Job Summary – The job holder will provide surgical care to orthopedic patients. The job holder will also supervise and coordinate orthopedic surgical services among others.

Pediatrician
Job Summary – The jobholder will provide health assessment and direct care to pediatric patients

Physician Specialist
Job Summary – The job holder will provide the full scope of primary care services including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to assigned patient groups at the Hospital.

Radiologist
Job Summary – The job holder will be responsible for executing and interpreting medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds and MRIs to facilitate quality patient outcomes.

Surgeon (General)
Job Summary – The job holder will manage the treatment of injuries, diseases, and deformities through operations and the overall provision of quality healthcare to patients at the Hospital.

Urologist
Job Summary – The job holder will be responsible for the health needs of all categories of Urology patients including children with surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary tract system and the male reproductive organs.
