Job Title: Forestry Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant

We are searching for an Forestry Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant for a large international forestry management contract.

Job Summary

Upon contract award, this position will serve as an In-Country Consultant to support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) support to the Coastal Sustainability Landscapes Project (CSLP) in Ghana. The consultant will review current project monitoring and evaluation documents, provide recommendations for any identified gaps, develop templates and procedures to ensure a strong monitoring and evaluation system is in place, and support the project in developing custom indicators, as necessary to best track progress toward standard indicators.

Requirements Include

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with monitoring and evaluation activities as part of a USAID-funded development project.
• Experience working in agriculture, natural resource management, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) or related development projects.
• Experience advising and mentoring teams on means of improving M&E practice.
• Experience working with a project team with large field level interventions including trainings and government to government capacity building activities.
