Job Description

Job Title: Investment/ Research Officer

Support the management of clients’ accounts on daily basis
• Build strong database for quick accounts or data retrieval
• Prepare company, industry and economic outlooks, analytical reports, briefing notes and correspondences
• Manage research data through documentation, storage, and preparation of presentations as required
• Build models, tools, and processes to support the qualitative and quantitative analysis of economic and financial information for investment decision making
• Document, monitor and assess the impact of assumptions and theses that underlie the investment decision making process
• In collaboration with MIS Department, design and ensure availability of standardized client forms for all corporate businesses
• Generate investment business.
• Keep up to date with market developments, new products, and securities that meet our mandated investment policy

3. Educational Qualification
• Minimum Entry Requirement for the position: 1st Degree in Statistics and Mathematics / Economics or its equivalent.
• CFA Part II
• GSE Certificate

4. Technical Competences
• Strong emphasis on analytical, qualitative and quantitative skills.
• Self-discipline, hard-working and diligent
• Proficient in using the computer and word processing applications.
5. Personal Competence
• Results driven, with a proven ability to self-manage tasks.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work across organizational boundaries.
• Resource tracking and reporting.

6. Minimum Experience
2-5 years
