Banking Careers in Ghana 2011: Internal Auditor
Role:
- Undertake reviews of operations of the Bank for internal control purposes
- Develop an annual audit plan to identify control priorities and resource requirements of the Bank
- Assess business risks associated with the operations of the Bank
- Ensure completion of audit assignments and presentation of written and oral audit reports to the Board of Directors and Management
- Any other duties that may be assigned in accordance with the Internal Audit Agency Act, 203 (Act 658)
Required Skills or Experience
- BSc Accounting/BCom/BSc Economics/BSc Statistics/BSc Mathematics with additional relevant professional qualification (at least CA/ACCA/ACIB Part 2)
- At least three (3) years practical experience as an Internal Auditor in a financial institution
- We are looking for enthusiastic self-motivated personalities with good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Strong computer proficiency
