Job Title: Head Collections and Recoveries
Meet Payroll Collections targets
- Responsible for delivering all payroll collection targets
- Partner with various teams in credit and collections to ensure that off payroll targets are met.
- Effectively works with relationship managers to ensure that any issues or anomalies around collections are dealt with on a timely basis
- Work with external debt collection agencies to optimize collections
Meet Non-payroll collections targets
- Meet agreed non-payroll collection targets
- Partner with various teams in credit and collections to ensure that non-payroll targets are met
- Effectively working with relationship managers to ensure that any issues or anomalies around non-payroll collections are dealt with on timely basis
- Work with external debt collection agencies to optimize collections in the non-pay-roll space
Manage Team Performance
- Partner the People team to recruit talent into collections and recoveries
- Manage the training plan and training delivery for the unit
- Create and manage work schedules for the unit
- Supervise and is responsible for the output of the unit
- Manage team performance
- Ensure compliance by staff to necessary policies and regulations around collections
Own and update respective policies for the various products
- Collaborate with the Chief Credit Officer and Group Credit Officer in updating the respective policies for the various products
Reporting
- Ensure regular reporting of collections performance and statistics
- Present regular reporting of collections performance and statistics to management
Budget management
- Manage the cost of collections budget
