1. Supervising Manager:
The Bonzali Rural Bank, a bank in the Northern Region of Ghana wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the following positions:- Supervising Manager.
Job Purpose:
The Supervising Manager shall ensure the overall efficient and effective administration/management of the bank.
Job Functions:
- Effective management of the whole bank;
- Providing visionary and strategic direction for the bank;
- Providing guidance and assistance to departmental managers;
- Ensuring that the bank meets its annual targets;
- Effective supervision of departmental managers to ensure that they manage their subordinates well and deliver expected results;
- Submitting useful reports and proposals to the Board for moving the bank forward in all key result areas;
- Ensuring sound compliance with relevant regularly and statutory bodies;
- Performing any other tasks that would be assigned by the Board
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of a University degree with a minimum of 10 years’ banking experience
- Should have a combines experience of 7 years in both core banking and credit management in a bank
- Detailed knowledge of core banking operations, internal controls, credit management and reporting systems in banking are required
- Strong skills in numeracy, report writing, verbal communications, conflict resolution, team-building, competent supervisory skills, and ability to discipline staff are essential requirements
- Additional relevant academic or professional training will be an advantage
- Strong familiarity with banking software and ICT controls will also be a great advantage
2. Deputy Supervising Manager
The Bonzali Rural Bank, a bank in the Northern Region of Ghana wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the following positions:- Deputy Supervising Manager.
Job Purpose:
The successful applicant shall assist the substantive manager in ensuring the overall efficient and effective administration/management of the Bank.
- He shall also act as the Supervising Manager in the absence of the Substantive Supervising Manager.
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of a first degree in relevant discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of 10 years’ banking experience;
- The suitable person should have a combined experience of 6 years in both core banking and credit management functions in a bank
- Detailed Knowledge of core banking operations, internal controls, credit functions and reporting systems in banking are required
- Strong skills in numeracy, reporting writing, verbal communications, competent supervisory skills, and ability to discipline staff are essential requirements
- Additional relevant academic or professional training will be an advantage
- Strong familiarity with banking software and ICT controls will also be a great advantage
